As from 16/05/2020 16th May 2020, Heroes with Ability are listed with the ACNC as a registered charity. The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) is the national regulator of charities. The ACNC was established in December 2012 to achieve the following objects: maintain, protect and enhance public trust and confidence in the Australian not-for-profit sector.
What does this mean to anyone interested in donating to Heroes With Ability?
Being listed with the ACNC means you can trust that your donations are managed correctly. It also means that donations to Heroes With Ability will be tax deductible.
From the ACNC website: “If the charity is listed on the Charity Register, you can be sure that it is registered and regulated by the ACNC.”
